Henriette Necklace from South-Africa

Tiny and elegant, the Henriette Necklace is made with an old 10 cent coin from South Africa minted in 1993. We love its enneagonal shape, revealing cute arum lilies on one side and the coat of arms of South Africa on the other side.

Arum lilies are native from South Africa, they are a symbol for holiness, faith and purity, commonly know as a representation of rebirth and resurrection.

The necklace was named after a lovely 85 year old lady who traveled most of her life and lived in many exotic places. She was really happy to take part in our project by giving us a fair amount of her own coin collection.

Original South African coin and 40cm sterling silver chain, both plated with 5 microns of 18k yellow gold.
